The American Museum of Natural History welcomes senior groups and we are prepared to cater to your special needs. Simply contact us at least two weeks ahead to choose itineraries with more or less walking and sitting, depending on the interests and energy level of your group. From special exhibitions and permanent halls to IMAX films and Space Shows, you're sure to find something for everyone! And, on the appointed day, we'll greet your gropu at the door and insure a successful experience from start to finish. By the way, we have wheelchairs, video displays are captioned, and hearing devices are available in auditoriums upon request. The minimum number of people to qualify as a group is 20. The Museum's halls are rich in scientific and cultural content. The Museum offers on-site support for school groups in permanent halls. Note the halls with Touch Carts (staffed by Teaching Volunteers) and Educator Guides as indicated by the icons below. We encourage you to select one of these halls as your Hall of Focus.
