Plan a School Group Visit
Due to the weather, the Museum is closed on Tuesday, January 27. All Tuesday programs and some Wednesday programs have been cancelled. Please check here for a full list, and check back for regular updates.
The Museum will be open on Wednesday, January 28, during regular hours, from 10 am to 5:45 pm.

Grades 5-8: Simulated voyage to the Moon in the Hayden Planetarium.
The LeFrak Class of the Month Essay Contest provides teachers of K-8 NYC students with the opportunity to align a Museum learning experience with Common Core State Standards by submitting essays about their Museum visit to the LeFrak Family Gallery.
A series of free, hands-on events for school groups of all ages on a variety of topics. Check out the Drop-In events for the 2014-15 school year.
Teaching Volunteers are available in various halls to enhance a school group's understanding of hall content.
Grades 8-12: Middle and high school laboratory experiences in comparative genomics, evolution, and the brain.
