Price and Payment for School Groups


Upon receiving your confirmation packet, please ensure your payment has been processed and tickets issued for your school group.


Making Payments

Payments are made during or after you make your reservation when you call Central Reservations at (212) 769-5200, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. If you have not done all of the steps towards making a School Group reservation, CLICK HERE.

Payment in full must be received two weeks in advance. The Museum is not responsible for lost or missing payments. The Museum accepts checks, money orders, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Checks and money orders should be made payable to "American Museum of Natural History." Please write your confirmation number, name of school, teacher's name, telephone number, program name, and date of visit on checks and money orders to ensure appropriate processing.

Allow at least 5 weeks in advance to secure your trip and to process your request. If you have changes (new field trip date, reduction/increase of reservation numbers, or cancellations), please call Central Reservations 14 days prior to the scheduled visit in order to receive a refund.
