Help: About Podcasts
A podcast is an audio or video file distributed over the internet for use on a computer or MP3/MP4 player. To download a specific talk, simply click on a "Download" link, which will initiate the download of that MP3 file to your computer. By subscribing to the Museum's podcasts, you can receive updated content automatically as it is published. Software known as an "RSS reader" (or "feed reader" or "aggregator") is required to subscribe to the podcasts. Apple's popular iTunes includes this functionality as do most newer web browsers. In addition, RSS readers are available for use on your desktop, on a mobile device or via any computerized Internet-connected device.
Subscriptions and downloads are free to all users.
