At these special wildlife presentations by the Theodore Roosevelt Audubon Center and Sanctuary, kids and adults of all ages can get a glimpse of live animals and see how they behave. Check out the wildlife workshops as well (below).

Kids can learn more about these amazing animals through the hands-on activities in these workshops. On Saturday, October 11, kids will get to know falcons, hawks, and owls, and on Saturday, October 18, they’ll learn to love snakes and lizards.

Do meteorites wreak havoc on our planet? Jeremy Delaney, Wright Geological Laboratory, Rutgers University, will use clips from classic science fiction films such as Day of the Triffids to illustrate the myths and realities of catastrophic impacts and the search for extraterrestrial life.
