Polar explorer and environmentalist Will Steger and a team of six 22- to 28-year-old explorers finished a 1,400-mile dogsled expedition across Ellesmere Island in Canada in 2008. The team included two Norwegians, Sigrid Ekran and Thorleif Tobias Thorleifsson, whose goal was to document the impact of climate change in the Canadian Arctic. In this presentation, Will Steger and Thorleif Tobias Thorleifsson will present their eyewitness accounts and share their experiences from the frontlines of global warming.

This program is cosponsored with The Royal Norwegian Consulate General.
