Education

Gabrielle received a Masters of Science and Technology in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France, as well as a BA in Art History and Archaeology from the Ecole du Louvre, Paris. Prior to joining AMNH in 2010, she has worked at the Auckland Museum in New Zealand, at the Quai Brany Museum in Paris, the Horniman Museum in London, and in private practice in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Research Interests

Gabrielle is an object conservator specializing in the care of anthropological collections in addition to her museum-wide responsibilities that include loans, environmental monitoring, and material testing. She has worked on several large projects involving indigenous communities such as the conservation of material culture from Siberia and the recent renovation of the Northwest Coast Hall.
