Isabelle Vea

Research Interests

Isabelle Vea was born in Paris, France. She graduated in 2006 from the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris. In 2008, she obtained a Master's in Systematics and Evolution from the same university, in   partnership with the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris while beginning her work on the systematics of Coccoidea (scale insects). She is now a Ph.D. student at the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History and her work will mainly focus on the study of the oldest lineages of Coccoidea, using living representatives as well as fossils in amber.
