STARRY NIGHTS SWINGS WITH LIVE JAZZ AT THE ROSE CENTER FOR EARTH AND SPACE
Starry Nights continues at the American Museum of Natural History's Rose Center for Earth and Space with sizzling live jazz in one of the most spectacular settings in New York. Visitors to Starry Nights, which is presented the first Friday of every month, can also enjoy mouthwatering tapas and wine and other beverages.
Gary Walker, celebrated host of Morning Jazz on WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM, serves as emcee for each Starry Nights performance.
Seating begins at 5:15 p.m., and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hourlong sets start at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Houston Person began playing in his late teens and gained further experience playing in bands during his military service. The internationally acclaimed tenor saxophonist has recorded over 75 albums and has played with many legendary artists including Etta Jones, Johnny Hammond Smith, and Johnny Smith. The Rose Center is open until 8:45 p.m. on the first Friday of every month. The Museum's suggested admission* covers entry to the Museum and to Starry Nights.
