Our experienced team is ready to work with institutions to make the process of hosting an exhibition smooth and successful. While the steps required to become a host can vary depending on the needs of the exhibition and the gallery space, here are the basics:
- Contact us to discuss which exhibitions have topics and availability that will best fit your needs and schedule.
- Complete and submit and AAM standard facility report. Our operations staff will determine how an installation at your institution can be facilitated. If necessary, our staff will travel to the gallery itself for a site visit.
- Formalize your interest by signing an exhibition loan agreement with AMNH.
- Plan for, receive, and install the exhibition with assistance from AMNH. We will provide aid for the entire process; for example, by coordinating shipping, supporting translations, or providing sample marketing and public relations materials. An onsite team will assist with the installation and de-installation.
