Field expeditions remain one of the Museum’s primary sources of scientific knowledge, with more than 100 field projects around the globe each year. From explorations of underwater bioluminescence in the Solomon Islands to conservation studies in Vietnam, these expeditions continue to add to the Museum's preeminent collections and to inform its exhibitions and educational programs.
