Join us for the premiere of a brand-new Museum-produced video and live Q&A!

Dive beneath the surface of one of the most iconic dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History and travel back in time to the 1920s, when Museum curator Roy Waldo Miner led expeditions to the crystal waters of the Bahamas to transplant a coral reef to New York City.

You’ll hear from artist Stephen Quinn about the fascinating history of the Museum’s only two-story diorama and the tremendous effort by scientists, artists, and builders to bring the Andros Coral Reef to life for generations of Museum visitors.

Immediately following the video premiere, tour guide Andrew Epstein will lead a live Q&A and virtual tour of select dioramas in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.
