Behind the Scenes: Mammalogy

Tuesday, September 27

Join us for an exciting Members-only evening as we explore behind the scenes in the Museum’s Mammalogy Department! Collections Manager Neil Duncan will examine the complex relationships between Canids and their prey.  The tour will include several rare specimens, including one of the few remaining examples of the likely-extinct Thylacine.  Senior Scientific Assistant Eileen Westwig will focus on species of Xenarthrans, a fascinating group that includes armadillos, anteaters, sloths and tamanduas.

Tour is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
