Join the Museum’s Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart, and astrophysicist Jackie Faherty on a live virtual space fight to our Moon.

Experience the phases of the Moon as never before and visit landing sites of NASA’s Apollo and Chinese Lunar Exploration programs, including on the far side of the Moon, to find out why these missions play an important role in advancing science on Earth. Discover clues about the Moon’s history in impact craters and lava flows, and find out why Shackleton Crater is a promising site for a future lunar base.

Join the live stream on Friday, June 12, at 1 pm EDT.
