Artist rendering of the InSight lander on the surface of Mars

Join Hayden Planetarium Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart for a real-time simulation of the landing of the InSight Mission, which is due to reach its target on Mars’ Elysium Planitia on Monday, November 26. InSight, launched in May, will deploy a seismometer, burrow a heat probe, and perform a radio science experiment to study the internal structure of the red planet.
