The Flaming Cliffs are a hot spot for fossils. This distant site as well as many others in the Gobi Desert in East Asia yield the most astonishing dinosaur discoveries. The Gobi Desert is a harsh, remote place, but well worth the trek. Join Congyu Yu, a Richard Gilder Graduate School PhD student, for a peek at the amazing dinosaur fossils from Mongolia and a sense of what it’s like to be a paleontologist conducting digs in such a rich but challenging locality.
