Choose from classes at all levels and learn the art of paper folding from highly skilled teachers from OrigamiUSA.

MORNING CLASSES

All of the following classes take place from 10:30 am–12:30 pm

 

Spring Fling

Level: Simple
Teacher: Ruth Tepper

Simple models that signal the arrival of spring, including a frog, tulip, butterfly and baby bird.

 

Models for Mom

Level: Low Intermediate
Teacher: Linda Bogan

Shower mom on her special day with gifts folded from the heart.

 

Baby Shower Models

Level: Intermediate
Teacher: Heidi Lenney

These baby shoes and baby onesie are just the thing to give your shower gift that extra special personal touch.

 

Fireworks

Level: Intermediate
Teacher: Wendy Zeichner

Folded from 12-16 sheets, the modules create a very strong lock that allows the model to rotate and eventually “pop” into a spectacular display like "fireworks"!

 


AFTERNOON CLASSES

All of the following classes take place from 2:30 pm–4:30 pm

 

Family Fun: Spring Models

Level: Beginner
Teacher: Candace Paska

Families can explore the magic of origami together. No experience is necessary. For children ages 5 and up. (Children 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult also registered to take the class. Adults without children also welcome!)

 

Brain Therapy Origami

Level: Simple
Teacher: Toshiko Kobayashi

Toshiko will teach models from her new book, which focuses on enhancing brain functions through the use of your fingertips.

 

Dragon's Egg/Magic Ball

Level: Intermediate
Teacher: Rachel Katz

This one piece action toy compresses and even turns inside out to reveal different pretty geometric patterns.

 

Star Amelie

Level: Intermediate
Teacher: Louise Flax

This ingenious star is made from two hexagons which hook together with a sink fold.
