SciCafe Nov14

Meet geneticist Chris Mason, assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Biophysics at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is one of a group of researchers combing the New York City subway system to swab surfaces, collect specimens, and create a map of the urban microbiome and DNA around us.

This project is supported by the Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) program of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The SciCafe series is proudly sponsored by Judy and Josh Weston.
