Special Members’ Screening: "Walking With Dinosaurs"

Join an advance screening for the new PBS show, "Walking With Dinosaurs,a reimagining of the iconic BBC series featuring six hour-long episodes that tell the dramatic story of an individual dinosaur whose remains are currently being unearthed by leading paleontologists. Through cutting-edge science and state-of-the-art visual effects, viewers will experience the lives of these prehistoric animals with unprecedented accuracy and detail.

After the screening, the Museum’s Senior Vice President of Exhibition, Education, and Public Programs Carol Tang will moderate a panel discussion with:

  • Roger Benson, Macaulay Curator of Dinosaur Paleobiology at the American Museum of Natural History
  • Emily Bamforth, "Walking With Dinosaurs" paleontologist and Curator, Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum 
  • Diana El-Osta, senior director of multiplatform programming and development at PBS
  • Andrew Cohen, head of the science unit for BBC Studios and executive producer of "Walking With Dinosaurs"
