Neil deGrasse Tyson, who narrates Dark Universe, is an astrophysicist, prolific science communicator, and the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium.
Tyson's tenth book, Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier, was released in March 2012. For five seasons, he hosted the educational science television show “NOVA scienceNOW” on PBS, and he is the host of a 21st-century reboot of Carl Sagan’s “Cosmos” TV series, set to air in spring 2014 on FOX.
