SciCafe: Seeing Inside Bats

Bats are known for their many abilities including powered flight and echolocation. Using CT-scanning technology, Museum scientists are taking a new look at bat skeletons to learn how they've evolved such interesting features. In this SciCafe, Museum curator Nancy Simmons and postdoctoral fellow Abigail Curtis take an exciting journey inside the world of bats.

This SciCafe took place at the Museum on October 7, 2015. To learn about upcoming SciCafe events, visit amnh.org/scicafe. To listen to the full lecture, download the podcast.
