Two elementary school kids in 1974 narrate the changes to their neighborhood of Lincoln Park, Chicago. Their playmates are moving away, and their playgrounds are turning into luxury housing. As DePaul University expands its presence, their neighborhood is gentrified and their friends are forced out of town.
