April 2018 Programs at the American Museum of Natural History

News posts

From a live performance inside the Hayden Planetarium Dome to interactive installations inspired by planet Earth, explore science from new perspectives this April at the Museum.

On Friday, April 13, and Saturday, April 14, take a musical journey through Our Senses with a special program featuring the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart. The legendary drummer will walk you through a curated soundscape he’s created for the exhibition based on his recent album, and will also perform live in the Hayden Planetarium Dome.

Then, on April 22, come bright and early to celebrate our planet at the Museum’s all-day EarthFest, featuring morning yoga, musical performances, artist-guided tours, film screenings, and pop-up art installations.

And on April 24, go on a virtual tour beyond our solar system with Museum astrophysicist Jackie Faherty as she explores living conditions on newly discovered exoplanets at this month’s Astronomy Live.

Join us at the Museum for these programs and more!
