It’s shaping up to be a wet week in New York, but the Museum has the perfect place to get out of the rain: The Butterfly Conservatory, a tropical vivarium where hundreds of butterflies flutter in their natural habitat.

If you’ve been waiting all spring to visit the vivarium—one of the Museum’s most popular annual exhibits—the coming long weekend is not just your best chance, it’s also the last one you’ll get for months! Monday, May 29 will be the last day The Butterfly Conservatory is on view.

So don’t delay! Brighten up the next couple of grey days with the brilliant colors of lepidopterans from around the world. And remember—Members get a discount on tickets to the Museum’s live-animal exhibitions and much more. Find out how to join and what membership level is right for you here.
