The topic this year is Selling Space, and in anticipation of what's sure to be a lively conversation (click here for a list of speakers), we've gathered a few resources around the site, for beginner and veteran space fan alike, addressing a few of the questions that may be raised. 

In this video from a 2010 SciCafe, hear Dr. Tyson's thoughts about the future of space exploration.

Can non-astronauts visit space? If so, for how long? We'll learn more from panelist Tom Shelley, the president of Space Adventures, Ltd., which has sent private citizens to the International Space Station. 

You can also read more about other private companies that aim to carry people or cargo to space.

Would, and could, people mine asteroids or other mineral-and-water-rich space objects?
