The Issue: Trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen so that animals, including humans, can breathe. They also contribute food and shelter to the ecosystem. What can humans do to help protect the ecosystem?

Advice to kids who think science is boring: It's not boring. It's really interesting. It's really informational.

What you like most about science: Learning new things and changing my thinking/hypothesis

Advice to kids who think science is boring: Science is all around you everywhere. If you have seen the Hudson River, it's pretty dirty, well people knew through science that oysters are water filters, so they dumped 1,000 oysters in, all because of science. That is one there are so many more.

Favorite thing to do / hobby: Soccer, science, tennis, and "Zelda, Breath of the Wild"

Favorite place or object in the Museum: Hall of North American Mammals

What you like most about science: Learning how the world works and I especially love learning about animals. I also like being able to do scientific things without the internet.

Advice to kids who think science is boring: It's not! It's really fun to do experiments. One of my favorites was the watershed. We made our own mini watershed.
