The Invasive Lionfish

By Julian B., Salvador, Julian K., Jayden, and Misael

The Issue: In some marine environments like coral reefs, lionfish are super-villains. This invasive species  traveled from the Indo-Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, where they have no natural predators. This has allowed them to out-compete the native fish and destroy habitats

Meet the Team: We chose coral reefs because they are a safe place for ocean life and they are affected by an invasive species.
