Dark Universe 3D

Rendered in 4k and released for the first time in 3D for giant screens, the American Museum of Natural History's latest space show Dark Universe celebrates the pivotal discoveries that have led us to greater knowledge of the structure and history of the universe—and to new frontiers for exploration.

Narrated by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Dark Universe whisks audiences across the Milky Way galaxy and out to the far reaches of space and time to highlight breakthroughs that have led astronomers to confront two great cosmic mysteries: dark matter and dark energy.

Dark Universe presents stunningly detailed scenes—including the most accurate atlas of the universe in existence, an astonishing three-dimensional look at the Milky Way galaxy, and a cosmic web of invisible dark matter—that bring audiences to the cutting edge of cosmic exploration.

Dark Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (www.amnh.org), in collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco, and GOTO INC, Tokyo, Japan.
