Velcro
In April 2008 National Geographic ran a feature story on Biomimetics. Or, technology inspired by nature. Most of the eletron micrographs taken for the story were taken in the Microscopy and Imaging Facility at AMNH. To read the full story, and view the picture gallery, click here.
