Earth and Planetary Science Exhibits

Museum exhibitions are the primary test tools by which the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences interacts with and engages the public in the collective knowledge and activities of earth and planetary scientists. These include the permanent displays in the new Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals, the David S. and Ruth L. Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth and the Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites.

Permanent Hall Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites More than 130 significant meteorites are on view, including the 34-ton Cape York Meteorite, known as Ahnighito.
