How are scientists working to help species threatened by climate change? Join conservation biologist Mary Blair, director of biodiversity informatics research at the Museum's Center for Biodiversity and Conservation, to explore research efforts to help conserve endangered species.
Expanding on her research, Blair will also talk about her personal journey as a scientist and descendent of Sámi nomadic reindeer herders from Sápmi (Finland, Russia, Norway, and Sweden), and the immense threat climate change poses to indigenous peoples' livelihoods as well as to global biodiversity.
Watch a recording of the livestream, first aired on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
