Tikal National Park, Guatemala
The nearly 55,000 acres surrounding Tikal’s Mayan archaeological site, itself some 2,500 years old, houses a rich array of life. First protected in 1931 and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tikal blends anthropological and ecological preservation.

Relics of the past have long fascinated humans. Join us as we unearth the past, and learn the techniques and tools used by scientists to excavate sites and analyze the objects left behind from past cultures.
