Meet the Scientist in the Sackler Educational Lab: Claudia Astorino
August 19, 2017
Human bodies vary across populations, age groups, sex, and the many environmental conditions to which members of our species have adapted. This variation is present in our genes, soft tissues, and even our skeletons! Join Claudia Astorino, a Ph.D. candidate researching biological anthropology at The CUNY Graduate Center, to explore how our bones and teeth can be used to reconstruct the past and help forensic anthropologists solve cases, and learn about how the human body adapts to help us survive in an ever-changing world.
