All admission to the Museum is by timed-entry, and must be reserved online.
The 36-credit program involves two concurrent components: courses and residencies. In addition to a full academic year of residencies in high-needs public schools, the program includes two additional AMNH-based summer residencies. Courses do not run on a traditional semester calendar.
Summer One (June – August)
Coursework at the Museum and online, in conjunction with the Museum Teaching Residency (Monday – Friday).
Academic Year (September – June)
School Residency in New York State public schools (Monday – Thursday) along with coursework at the Museum (every Friday and multiple Saturdays per month).
Summer Two (July – August)
Museum Science Practicum Residency (Monday – Friday).
