The year 2020 changed the lives of billions of people across the globe.

How could the world have been better prepared to meet the challenges of a global pandemic, and what can we do to help end it? Join Dr. Jay Varma, MD, a top expert on the prevention and control of diseases who helped lead New York City’s COVID-19 response, to find out how public health officials identify, track, and develop strategies to combat disease, and learn what teens can do to help bring the COVID-19 pandemic to an end.

Teen SciCafe events are intended for students 14 and older.
