Senior Group Visits

The American Museum of Natural History welcomes senior groups. Simply contact us at least two weeks ahead to choose from itineraries with more or less walking and sitting, depending on the interests and energy level of your group. From special exhibitions and permanent halls to IMAX films and Space Shows, you're sure to find something for everyone!

Senior Group Prices

Minimum to qualify for group rate: 20 people
Note: Special Travel Industry rates applied at booking


General Admission + All
Admission to the Museum and Rose Center for Earth and Space, plus all Special Exhibitions, LeFrak Theater film and Hayden Planetarium Space Show.
Senior Group rate $25.50 per person

Admission to the Museum and Rose Center for Earth and Space plus one Special Exhibition, LeFrak Theater film, or Hayden Planetarium Space Show
Senior Group rate $20 per person

No deposit is required, but full payment must be received 2 weeks before the date of visit.

Take a one-hour guided tour providing a general overview of the Museum’s collections. Also includes tickets to the Planetarium Space Show, special exhibitions and LeFrak Theater film.

Featured: Climate Change Media Wall

The climate change section features a media wall comprised of 36 high-definition 55-inch screens with “big-picture” messages about climate change. Below them, content panels and interactive stations explore three main themes: How Climate Works, Our Warming World, and Consequences of Climate Change.
