  • AMNH-Bard Research Fellowship in Museum Anthropology
    Bard Graduate Center invites applications for a two-year (2018–20) postdoctoral fellowship jointly appointed at Bard Graduate Center and in the Anthropology Division and the Richard Gilder Graduate School of the American Museum of Natural History. The Fellow’s project should focus on Native Textiles of the North American Southwest and should make use of the AMNH collection. PhD in Anthropology or related fields required.   • Postdoctoral Fellowship at RGGS
    The Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programs of the AMNH are designed to advance the training of each participant by having them pursue a specific, time-limited project in association with Museum professionals in the Museum setting. Deadline: November 15, 2017
  • Collection Study Grants
    Collection Study Grants provide financial assistance to enable pre-doctoral and recent post- doctoral investigators to study the scientific collections at the American Museum of Natural History.

  • YVR Art Foundation Masterpiece Study Program Grants
    Through this program administered by the YVR Art Foundation, British Columbia and Yukon First Nations artists can apply for funding to visit and study items in the collections of the AMNH Anthropology Division. Annual deadline in September.
