My name is Andrew Neely. I am a high school physics teacher in northeast Pennsylvania. I received my undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2001. Following graduation, I spent three years teaching physics in Harford County, Maryland before coming back to northeast PA, where I grew up. Using credits gained from AMNH courses, I recently finished my Masters degree in Secondary Science Education from Plymouth State University.

In my spare time, I like to play golf, fish, and I am an avid hunter. I am also the head coach of our high school golf team, and I am the school's planetarium director. Not only do we have an astronomy course at the high school, but we also use the planetarium for numerous outreach programs to benefit the surrounding communities. At home, my family and I tend to our fruit trees, blueberry bushes, and our vegetable garden.

I am looking forward to spending time in class with all of you.

Andy
