Hi! I'm Adriana Aquino. I’m an ichthyologist, a scientist who studies fish. Ever wonder why fish can breathe underwater but humans can't? Living in water and living on land are very different. Water has unique properties, like its density and the amount of food, light, and oxygen it contains. And marine creatures have special adaptations that help them breathe, eat, communicate, and move in water.
