A jaw-dropping new exhibition about the world's most iconic dinosaur.

The Blue Whale is the largest animal that ever lived! To feel really small, stand underneath this life-size fiberglass model of one in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.

Only 15 partial skeletons of T.rex have ever been found. Get up close to one of them, and meet many of its relatives in the Hall of Saurischian Dinosaurs.

Their dazzling colors & patterns are more than simply beautiful. Some colors tell predators that they might be poisonous. Others are used to attract mates. Find out more in the Butterfly Conservatory.

African elephants are the largest living land animals. A herd of them will greet you upon entering the Akeley Hall of African Mammals.

This 11-foot statue is a copy of an Easter Island "head." People of this South Pacific Island carved more than 250 gigantic heads out of volcanic rock. It is a centerpiece of the Margaret Mead Hall of Pacific Peoples.

This giant screen shows both 2D and 3D films. 

This elaborate costume made of snail shells was used as part of a ritual of the Yoruba people of Nigeria. See it for yourself in the Hall of African Peoples.

This meteorite was zooming through space at 40,000 miles per hour when it smashed into the ground in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Now you can see it in the Cullman Hall of the Universe.

Those large bony plates along the back of Stegosaurus once held blood vessels. It can be found, along with Triceratops and other famous dinos, in the Hall of Ornithischian Dinosaurs.

This new kid on the fourth floor is so big it can't even fit in the room! You can see most of this dinosaur in the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Orientation Center (and the rest of it in the hallway outside).

The Brown Bear is the largest living bear. Like all bears, it's omnivorous - both a plant and meat eater. See it enjoying a salmon snack in the Hall of North American Mammals.
