If you are coming to the Museum on Saturday, May 25, please use one of the following entrances: 79th Street and Central Park West, subway entrance, or Weston Pavilion (Columbus Avenue entrance). The 81st Street entrance will be closed, but the Hayden Planetarium Space Show will be shown on a normal schedule.

The Library is open to Museum staff and public researchers. Our main stacks are accessible during the hours listed below.  Access to material in the Rare Book Collection and Special Collections is by appointment only. Please see Access and Policies for additional information.

Public Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2:00pm-5:30pm
Staff Hours :  Monday and Friday 9:30pm-4:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:30am-5:30pm

Directions: 
We are located on the fourth floor of the Museum, off the Hall of Vertebrate Origins (see the Museum's interactive floor plan). Directions to the Museum are provided on the main Museum site.
