Until recently, the online database was drawn from a custom Divisional database and was assembled from a variety of legacy databases used in the four Paleontology collections. We are in the process of transitioning to a new system in order to provide more robust and dynamic access to our collections database. Currently, some of the Vertebrate Paleontology collections, but none of the Invertebrate Paleontology collections, are online. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact the relevant Curator-in-Charge or collections staff. We can make no warranty as to the completeness or the accuracy of the data and accept no liability for any use made of these data.
