Outside Food and Drinks

Visitors may bring food and drinks from the outside into the Museum with them but must carry the food in a closed bag. Coolers and containers of food, beverages, and other perishables are not permitted in the Museum’s coat check.

Please do not eat or drink in Museum halls or theaters. Outside food and beverages may not be consumed in the Museum’s Food Court unless visitors are also purchasing items in the Food Court. If the visitor group is not purchasing items in the Food Court and would like to consume outside food or beverages, visitors are welcome to use the Museum’s student lunchrooms, located on the Lower Level near the Food Court. If the lunchrooms are occupied by other groups, please notify a Museum employee who will assist visitors in locating an alternate space.
