General Admission
Includes access to more than 40 permanent exhibition halls, the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and the Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation.

Group Visits FAQ
The Museum is open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm and closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The minimum number of people to qualify as a group is 20.
Yes. Group reservations must be made in advance to help facilitate your group’s arrival.
No. Group prices are available through advance purchase only. If not purchased in advance, only the regular admission rate will be offered. Please note that payment is due two weeks before your visit.
Groups enter the Museum at the Rose Center for Earth and Space entrance on 81st Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenues. Once the reservation is paid in full, your group leader will be emailed digital tickets that will be scanned for entry upon your arrival. If the group leader requests printed tickets in lieu of digital tickets, printed tickets will be available for pickup upon arrival.
Yes. They are part of the same campus on Central Park West between 77th and 81st Streets. Your group will enter through the Rose Center entrance located on 81st Street.
Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge. Ask a security officer at the entrance for assistance.
Yes. All public areas in the Museum are accessible to wheelchairs; all video displays are captioned for the hearing impaired; hearing devices are available in theaters upon request. If your group requires any accommodations, visit the Museum’s Accessibility page for more information.
No. All seats at the Hayden Planetarium Space Show have an equally magnificent view.
The entire Space Show experience is 30 minutes.
Films average 40–45 minutes.
