The Prayas Children's Home for Boys is located in one of the poorer quarters of New Delhi.ÊThe residents are orphans, or boys who have run away from home, or were picked up from the streets.ÊOne day, 181 boys arrive, having been rescued from a child labor factory. Despite the harshness of their lives, many of these children show extraordinary strength of character. Often left to their own devices, they institute a seemingly arbitrary set of checks and balances to make sense of the mayhem around them.
