This short experimental documentary explores seeing movement, doing science, and filming history in Naples, Italy. Moving between past and present, text and image, travelogue and reverie, the film interweaves the reflections of the nineteenth-century chronophotographer Etienne-Jules Marey with the animated impulses of the modern-day filmmaker.
