PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN SPOTLIGHT GOLD
The Museum has developed a wide array of public programs in conjunction with the Gold exhibition. Lectures and panel discussions with experts examine everything from the history of gold in the universe from the Big Bang to gold mines and even offer visitors a chance to taste golden sake.
Entertaining and educational programs for children and families include workshops, performances, and film. Special highlights include a scavenger hunt for buried treasure throughout the Museum and a performance by the Andean music group Tahuantinsuyo and local Aztec dancers.
