The Museum’s National Center for Science Literacy, Education and Technology (NCSLET) has developed an Educator’s Guide to Vietnam: Journeys of Mind, Body & Spirit that helps teachers create activities to be used before, during, and after school visits. The guide is organized around major themes in the exhibition, such as journeys through time, journeys of peoples and goods, life journeys through rites of passage such as weddings and funerals, and journeys of deities and heroes as performed and celebrated in traditional village festivals.
The Educator’s Guide is available online at the Museum’s Web site for educators, Resources for Learning. This gateway to a free, easy-to-navigate online database of the Museum’s scientific and educational materials features additional activities and resources related to Vietnam: Journeys of Body, Mind & Spirit.
The Educator’s Guide to Vietnam: Journeys of Mind, Body & Spirit was produced with the generous support of The Freeman Foundation. Resources for Learning is supported by The Louis Calder Foundation.
