Join us on Wednesday, January 18, for the Beyond Planet Earth Tweetup, hosted in partnership with Scientific American. The evening begins in the Hayden Planetarium Space Theater, where you'll explore the Digital Universe, the world's largest scientifically accurate 3D atlas of the universe. Then, get an exclusive look at the Museum's new exhibition Beyond Planet Earth: The Future of Space Exploration. Check out a model of a lunar elevator, try to deflect a "doomsday" asteroid, transform Mars into a habitable planet at an interactive terraforming table, and more. You'll also have the opportunity to hear from scientists and space visualization experts throughout the evening. Beer, wine, and snacks will be provided.
