Ring

Diamonds form very deep, within the Earth's crust. They come to the surface in volcanic rocks called kimberlites.

Gold, like silver, is found in rocks near old volcanoes. Usually, gold used for jewelry also has a little bit of other elements in it to make it stronger or change its color.
